The Franco-German EPR at the Olkiluoto site of Finnish operator TVO in Eurajoki, first connected to the grid in March 2022 and in regular production from 16 April 2023, more than a decade behind its original schedule. Producing at about 1,600 megawatts, 1,575 net, TVO calls it the largest nuclear power plant unit in Europe, and with it about thirty percent of Finnish electricity is produced at Olkiluoto; TVO completed final takeover of the unit from its suppliers in June 2025.
